GCSE Film Studies – Aesthetics

We wanted to share these images taken by Cody (a yr 11 GCSE Film Studies student)

Cody’s task was to reflect the aesthetic of one of the films we study –Attack The Block (Joe Cornish, 2011) by taking images around the house and he only had 40 minutes to do it!

Only the first image is actually from the film, so I’d say he nailed it! We wondered if he had used gels to create the effect but he had only used  a blue light from a small speaker, tin foil, plastic throwaway glove and a dishwasher, batteries and wire.

Well done Cody!
